Meet Frances & Alexandra

Together, we have over 38 years of specialized training, skills and expertise as family social workers. We excel in helping solve “human connection” problems.

  • We bring a unique approach to keeping “the work family” (management & staff) productive and happy.

Strengthening the “family” dynamics in the workplace is essential for today’s employees — helping them achieve their expectations of happiness and fulfillment. We are committed to increasing employee loyalty, retention and productivity.

  • Our purpose and passion is to share our experience and our knowledge with your organization, helping your company effectively bridge the gap between management and staff, improve employee communication and enhance work relationships.

  • “Work families” like real families experience challenges and conflicts. We teach companies how to address these issues in a productive and positive manner.

Having worked in child welfare, we have witnessed how the bureaucracy of a broken system affects human connections. Human connections are crucial to successful outcomes.

  • Frances

Frances Lopez graduated from the prestigious NYC specialized high school, Stuyvesant, followed by Ivy League Brown University. After a few years, Frances realized she wanted to make a deeper impact. As someone who grew up in East Harlem, she knew how hard life could be and felt compelled to help others. She devoted her talent and energy to “giving voice” to invisible individuals and help them gain access to communities and resources that could improve their lives and their survival.

Frances earned her Master’s in Social Work degree from Columbia University. Social work became her life’s passion and mission. Utilizing her ASL skills, she worked for a leading social service organization in a citywide program dedicated to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing population. Frances has been committed to compassionate caring for over 28 years, most recently as Senior Director overseeing multiple programs across the city of New York. She continues to push back, confront workplace inequities and demand that workers’ voices/input be heard and considered.

  • Alexandra

Before Alexandra returned to graduate school for Social Work at Fordham University, she owned an award-winning baking and catering company, worked at a major toy company, in advertising sales and in the healthcare field. While partnering with a new media publication, Alexandra helped co-design the first trade show booth as a lounge on the show floor of the Jacob Javits Center.

For the past 14 years, Alexandra has worked with underprivileged children and their families in behavioral health clinics within New York City public schools and social service organizations. As a Director of a child welfare program with a leading social service organization, Alexandra has confronted the disconnect between upper management and frontline staff. She has worked tirelessly and relentlessly to bridge the gap to ensure employees feel heard and valued
